I recently came back to train with Mike Belker after taking a few years off with young children.
After having kids, I tried working out on my own by taking yoga and barre classes.
Unfortunately, this routine left me with an aggravating hip injury.
While in physical therapy for my hip, I learned I needed to strengthen certain muscle groups, and almost reprogram how my body moves, to try to keep from making my hip worse.
I knew Mike was exactly the person I needed to call to help me.
I have been back training with Mike twice a week for the last 8 months. He has shown me outstanding personal attention by taking the time to understand my hip situation, and help me work to correct my muscle imbalances.
His dedication to helping me strengthen and get back in to shape, without aggravating my injury, is greatly appreciated, and is helping immensely.
Mike is very motivational in his training, and the gym is always a welcoming atmosphere. Once I walk through the door, I am inspired to give 100%.
Mike even finds a way to make me smile through the most grueling parts of each work out.
